Khiplace, a collective intelligence network of investment professionals, held a roundtable event on October 9, 2024 entitled “Raw materials: What will the clean energy world of 2043 look like?”
It presented an overview of today and tomorrow’s transition metals — with or without fossil fuels — and the paradoxes of investing in renewable energies.
Guillaume Pitron, co-founder of Psyché 16, took part in a discussion with Benjamin Louvet, Head of Commodities Management at Ofi Invest Asset Management.
“There will be enough metals on Earth to achieve the energy transition, but geopolitical tensions, price volatility, and the time required to open new mines pose real risks for investors and companies active in this market.”
